Bill Sipper joined Naked Juice as Vice President of Marketing in 2005, at a time when North Castle Partners was buying and consolidating multiple beverage brands including Naked Juice, Wymans, Just Pik’t, Hansens, and Zeigler’s Apple Cider.

Bill was brought on board to help pull the brands together and determine brand direction and usage, and was responsible for all marketing, branding/positioning, advertising, public relations, and event marketing for the company.

During his tenure, Naked Juice was repositioned and several successful line extensions created.  Several smoothie brands were slowly transformed into one national brand under the Naked banner. When Bill joined Naked, the beverage was only sold in the state of California, (mostly in Southern California) but under Bill’s leadership Naked was strategically introduced to 30+ ADI (Area of Dominant Influence) markets.  PepsiCo acquired Naked Juice for $450 million in 2006.

At that time, Naked Juice had recorded annual sales of $150 million within the U.S. According to financial industry analysts, this acquisition was initiated in part to compete with The Coca-Cola Company's 2001 purchase of Naked Juice rival Odwalla.

From 1999-2001 Bill was Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Distribution for Fresh Samantha which merged with Odwalla. Coca Cola acquired Odwalla for $181 million in October 2001.
